MIE student Sudhanshu Jain has been selected as the recipient of this year’s Abe M. Zarem Award for Distinguished Achievement in Aeronautics.

This award is for his paper “Ignition and combustion characteristics of renewable fuels blended with conventional fuels” which was judged to be of outstanding quality.

AIAA will pay his airfare and other expenses to attend the 2013 Aerospace Sciences Meeting and Exhibit where he will be presented with the medallion. This will also be announced in Aerospace America. The award also recognizes the faculty advisor of the winner who is professor Suresh Aggarwal.
