About

Research Interests: Our research group at UIC is dedicated to advancing the understanding and application of energy transport at micro and nanoscales. We focus on the intricate mechanisms of near-field thermal radiation, thermionic electron emission, and sub-continuum gas conduction. By exploring these fundamental processes, we aim to engineer innovative solutions for cutting-edge applications in nanoelectronics, aerospace, and beyond. Our work bridges the gap between theoretical insights and practical implementations, driving the next generation of energy-efficient technologies.
Key words: Nanoscale Energy Transport, Near-Field Thermal Radiation, Energy Conversion
