Jonathan Komperda instructs the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering senior design capstone curriculum, where he advises and manages students performing projects with industry partners. Komperda also teaches Numerical Methods for Engineers.

Jonathan Komperda serves as the administrator of the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering's computational clusters Dragon and Hydra. Additionally, he is the faculty advisor for the UIC Society of Automotive Engineers and UIC Motorsports.
